Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your ScanSync account and what happens to your data.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete:
- Your account profile and settings
- All scanned documents and images
- Folders and organizational data
- Workflow configurations
- Credit balance and transaction history
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: From the App
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the prompts.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to our support team with the subject line "Account Deletion Request":
Request Deletion via EmailPlease include the email address associated with your Google Sign-In.
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
Data Retained
After deletion, we may retain:
- Anonymized analytics data (cannot identify you)
- Records required for legal/financial compliance
Third-Party Services
Deleting your ScanSync account does not affect:
- Your Google account
- Files you exported to Google Drive or OneDrive
- Your Google Play purchase history
To revoke ScanSync's access to these services, visit your Google Account permissions or Microsoft Account permissions.
